At The Columbia Hotel, we understand the unique needs of Pacific Crest Trail hikers. That's why we've created a dedicated shuttle in collaboration with Ashland Mountain Adventures to make your journey more convenient and stress-free and to avoid hitching along the busy I5 highway.

  • Daily at 12:30 PM from The Columbia Hotel

Pacific Crest Trail to Ashland:
Pick Up Location: HERE (42°03'54.4"N 122°36'08.7"W)

  • Early Morning Departure: 9:45 AM from The PCT pick up point

  • Mid Morning Departure: 11 AM from The PCT pick up point

  • Afternoon Departure: 2 PM from The PCT pick up point

Pricing:

  • One-Way: $10 per person

  • Make sure to book in advance to secure your spot. Van limited to 10 hikers.

How to Book:

  1. In-Person: Visit the front desk at The Columbia Hotel to reserve your spot.

  2. Online: CLICK HERE (Note: Advance booking is recommended as space is limited.)

  3. Phone: Text us at 541-499-2298 to make a reservation and hold your spot. Pay cash at pick up.

Instructions for Shuttle Use

Before Your Ride:

  1. Arrive Early: Please be at the hotel lobby at least 15 minutes before the scheduled departure time to ensure a smooth and timely departure.

  2. Check Your Reservation: Verify your reservation with the front desk and confirm your seat on the shuttle.

  3. Prepare Your Gear: Make sure all your gear is packed and ready to go. Our shuttle staff will assist with loading your belongings.

During Your Ride:

  1. Stay Seated: For your safety, remain seated while the shuttle is in motion.

  2. Keep Your Belongings Secure: Store your gear in the designated area to keep the seating area clear and safe.

  3. Enjoy the Scenery: Take in the beautiful views as we drive you to the trailhead.

Upon Arrival:

  1. Gather Your Belongings: Ensure you have all your gear before exiting the shuttle. Lost items left on the shuttle may incur additional charges to return to drop off these items back up the mountain.

  2. Follow the Driver’s Instructions: The driver will guide you on where to unload your gear and provide any last-minute tips for your hike.

For Your Return Trip:

  1. Be On Time: Please be at the designated pickup locations on time to avoid missing the shuttle. 

  2. Notify the Driver: If your plans change and you won’t need the return shuttle, kindly inform us as soon as possible.

  • Is the shuttle service available every day? Yes, our shuttle runs daily, but please check with the front desk for any updates or changes to the schedule. 

  • How can I pay for my shuttle ride? Please pay $10 cash at the front desk of The Columbia Hotel or book and pay online HERE.

  • What if I book and miss my shuttle? Please let us know in advance if you cannot make your reserved shuttle spot, we will try and accommodate you another time if it is available.

  • What if I leave something on the shuttle? Please text/call us to let us know. We can try organize to return your items and there may be a cost involved.
