The Columbia Hotel Pet Policy & Agreement
Welcome to The Columbia Hotel! We are delighted to offer pet-friendly accommodations for our guests. To ensure a comfortable stay for all, we ask that you adhere to the following pet policy:
General Guidelines
Please be aware that a non-refundable pet fee of $30 per pet per night will be charged to your account prior to checkout to cover the cost of additional and necessary cleaning in preparation for our next guest. If room fumigation is required due to pest infestation an additional fee over and above the cleaning fee will apply.
Pet Limit: A maximum of two pets are allowed per room.
Pet Weight: Pets must weigh no more than 70 pounds each.
We welcome all well mannered, dogs, cats, birds, and fish. We reserve the right to require immediate removal of any pet that displays dangerous or unacceptable behavior, including, but not limited to, biting, excessive noise (such as barking), evidence of disease, or urination / defecation in public areas. Each guest is responsible for all charges that relate to the removal of his / her pet, including but not limited to transportation and kennel charges.
Guest Responsibilities
Pet Supervision: Pets must not be left unattended in guest rooms. If you need to leave your pet alone, please arrange for pet sitting services.
Leashes and Carriers: Pets must be kept on a leash or in a carrier when in public areas of the hotel.
Housekeeping will not clean your room if your pet is unrestrained and not in a pet carrier or crate. If housekeeping is unable to clean your room and you would like it to be cleaned, please contact guest services and make arrangements for room cleaning during normal housekeeping schedule.
Noise Control: Please ensure that your pet does not disturb other guests. Continuous barking or noise is not permitted.
Cleanliness: We request that no pets sleep or sit on any beds or furniture within guest rooms or common areas of the hotel. Any additional cleaning charges required to remove dog odors from bedding, blankets or furniture may be added to Guest account. Guests are responsible for cleaning up after their pets both inside the hotel and on the hotel grounds. Waste disposal bags are provided.
Damage: Guests are responsible for any damage or injury caused by their pets. Additional charges may apply for damages or excessive cleaning.
Restricted Areas
Pets are not allowed in the following areas:
When private or public events are being held in the Lobby Lounge we require that you do not allow your dog in the area to be respectful of the event space and attendees.
Health and Safety
Vaccinations: Pets must be up-to-date on vaccinations. Proof of vaccination may be required.
Health: Pets must be free of fleas, ticks, and other pests.
Behavior: Pets must be well-behaved and not pose a threat to other guests or staff.

Agreement
By signing this agreement, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to abide by the pet policy of The Columbia Hotel. Failure to comply with this policy may result in additional charges, and you may be asked to make alternative arrangements for your pet.
